Commercial Driver License
CDL stands for Commercial Driver's License is a driving license required in the United States America for driving any type of vehicle like trucks, tractor trailers, and buses for commercial use, or transports under Department of Transportation regulations. For any vehicle which carries 16 passengers, CDL test is required for driver.
Documents required to get CDL?
- You are an Interstate non-excepted driver and must meet the Federal DOT medical card requirements (e.g. – you are “not excepted”).
- You are an Interstate excepted driver and do not have to meet the Federal DOT medical card requirements.
- You are an intrastate non-excepted driver and are required to meet the medical requirements for Tennessee.
- You are an Intrastate excepted driver and do not have to meet the medical requirements for Tennessee.
